The counter
Behind the glass.
Small French entremets under mirror glaze, cakes by the slice, tarts, macarons and cookies. The selection changes through the week because it is made in small batches — this is some of what has been in the counter.
The counter, explained
Five layers, one bite.
The small, glossy cakes in the counter are entremets: five layers built one at a time, with a freeze between each. Nothing is added at the table — everything you see was built while the cake was frozen.
- 1Mirror glazeThe glossy outer coat. It is the glaze that makes the cake reflect the room.
- 2MousseThe airy body. It carries the shape — which is why a dome is round, not square.
- 3InsertA core of fruit or cream, frozen separately and set into the middle.
- 4CrunchA thin, crisp layer. This is what keeps a dome from being soft all the way through.
- 5BaseSponge or shortcrust that holds everything together when it is lifted.
Trompe-l'œil
Fruit that is not fruit.
The strawberries, lemons and passion fruit on the bamboo boards are cakes. Mousse and fruit centre under a sprayed shell, shaped and coloured like the fruit they taste of.

The whole family.
Red dome cakes, coconut shells with mango and a mango-shaped cake on a pink flower plate. Everything in the counter is made to be looked at before it is eaten.

Prices and dish names are taken from our own printed menu, February 2026. Cakes are not on that menu, and the bottled drinks appear there only as “mineral water and soft drinks” at 49 kr; the individual names come from our foodora and Wolt menus. Where our menu does not carry a documented allergen declaration, we say so instead of guessing — please ask us at the counter, and tell us about any allergy before you order. See the allergen list.
